Abstract
During the Coronapandemie, policy makers often had to choose between keeping society open and combating the spread of the coronavirus. If more people got Corona, the pressure on care increased. Frontliniezorgers then sometimes provided care that was below their standard. Working under high pressure thus contributed to moral injury among caregivers: a permanent mental scar that arises after you do something or see it goes against your moral values.
