Abstract

There is a continuous policy discussion and public debate about the net effects of non-medical interventions (NMIs) that have been introduced to prevent the spread of COVID-19. These measures have been taken to get the pandemic under control and may have had unexpected negative health effects, especially during lockdown times when the "Stay-at-home order" (SHOs) were in force for non-essential employees. This study will evaluate whether the SHOs had the intended effect to reduce hospital admissions.
