Abstract
The project goal is to support connecting people coming from different parts of Europe. The project reflects on the current events in Europe, especially the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The borders were closed, public events were cancelled, people stayed at home. This all resulted in people becoming distant to each other and negative. People also took negative position to compulsory testing, vaccinations, restrictions, governments, and even the EU. This negative approach is critical in society and among communities. The project aims at stopping the negative tendency by stressing the importance of cooperation, tolerance, and dialogue. On the background of all this, there is the European Union as a haven for all people, no matter their origin, race, or ethnicity. The European Union shall become a bond for the participants, a joining element for all citizens. The project will also support connections between ordinary citizens and the EU. The citizens will obtain a tool for their engagement in policy-making processes at the European level. The project helps in connecting citizens coming from different countries, giving them the opportunity to create international friendships. The unique idea of connecting citizens through NGOs has the ambition to provide a new perspective on the possibilities of partnerships. Partnerships based on EU ideas are more likely to survive in the future. Creation of such partnership is a result of the project. The project is a universal tool for presentation of European values. The current values - such as solidarity, tolerance, freedom, and democracy - will be presented both directly and indirectly. The partnership will become essentially universal.
