Abstract
The project within the EU4Health program responds to the health crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and focuses on strengthening public health in the European Union. Its goal is to improve national healthcare systems through digitalization, better utilization of health data, development of digital tools and services, and improving access to healthcare. A key component of the project is the creation and integration of a secure open digital platform for data exchange and service provision, which will expand the capabilities of the existing information system of the Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic (ÚVZ SR). The platform will enable efficient management of threats and crisis situations in Slovakia in the field of public health, ensure data exchange between integrated systems, and support the implementation of new functionalities. A significant contribution will also be the pilot expansion of the Integrated System of Public Health Authorities (ISÚVZ), which will verify the system's reliability and efficiency before its final deployment.
