Abstract
Major ongoing global viral pandemics have swept the world in recent decades, including SARS-CoV-2, influenza and HIV. I present 3 inter-related research themes to address control of SARS-CoV-2, influenza and HIV. My overall vision is to bring our understanding of immunity to SARS-CoV-2, influenza and HIV to the point where we can improve vaccination strategies and treatment paradigms for these viruses.
