Abstract
This is a prospective multi-country cohort study to measure the effectiveness of the influenza vaccines in hospital-based healthcare workers during a period of co-circulation of influenza and SARS-CoV-2, embedded in the COVID-19 VE study set up under VEBIS, Lot 2. We will assess the feasibility of performing this study in hospital-based HCWs and to validate the use of saliva as an adequate sample for influenza testing in this population.
