Abstract
The aim of the study is to determine the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on mental health based on the experience of the Medicum Group's primary care nurses. The research tasks are to describe the experiences of primary care nurses working during the Covid - 19 pandemic in relation to the changed work environment on the example of Medicum and to describe the impact of the Covid - 19 pandemic on the mental health of primary care nurses on the example of nursing. Applied research is planned for 2021-2026. Up to 30 students are planned to participate in the applied research, and 10 research papers and 1 master's thesis will be completed within the project. The methodology of the applied research is qualitative and empirical, and the research is conducted through structured interviews. The study is important for assessing the mental health of nurses and for further interventions to ensure the mental well-being of nurses in the work environment. The study is being carried out in collaboration with Medicum and TTK as part of a joint applied research project.
