Abstract

Post-Covid is a chronic condition in which people experience long-term complaints after a SARS-COV-2 infection. The cause is still not clear, but there are probably different disease mechanisms playing a role. For example, there are indications that the virus remains present in the body for a long time. In addition, the immune system of people with post-Covid has been disrupted, which may cause damage to organs. Finding out how these processes cause and maintain the disease and can give starting points for new therapies.
