Abstract
General: The programme will provide emergency support to Mpox outbreak in Uganda. This will be based on key objectives that include. Enhancing Surveillance Capacity through sensitive surveillance system that are capable of early detection and reporting of cases in the country and border post and contact follow-up rate of above 90%. Increase community awareness and mobilization of Mpox prevention, resulting in acceptance of response interventions and reporting of Mpox cases. Will also scale up a coordination mechanism to cope with increased community transmission and geographical spread, ensuring optimum utilization of resources.
