Abstract
CEPI committed initial funding of up to US$8.6 million to support preclinical testing and development activities for a Bundibugyo ebolavirus vaccine candidate based on the University of Oxford's ChAdOx1 platform. Funding will support creation of a Master Virus Seed stock and manufacture of clinical-grade doses by the Serum Institute of India. The programme seeks to rapidly prepare the vaccine candidate for Phase 1 clinical trials.
