Abstract

The study collected and analyzed nationally representative data in the area of communication during the Covid-19 crisis. It shows to what extent communication by (1) the FOPH, (2) traditional media, (3) social media, and (4) in interpersonal relationships has influenced the following factors: (a) trust in health authorities, (b) willingness to get vaccinated, (c) susceptibility to conspiracy theories, and (d) the mental health of the population.
