Abstract

In managing the COVID-19 pandemic, it is crucial for authorities to understand how the population perceives the situation, how they assess risks, and how this influences their social interactions. This study involves regularly surveying a representative sample of the Swiss population on these topics. It is part of a cross-border longitudinal study in Europe, allowing for comparisons across various countries, including the UK, the Netherlands, and Belgium. The project began in Switzerland in January 2021 and was funded by the European Commission until September 2021. The surveys are now scheduled to continue until March 2022.
