Abstract

The Pro Juventute Corona Report shows how the Covid-19 pandemic and its surrounding circumstances have a far-reaching impact on the health, well-being and development of young people in Switzerland. The medium and long-term consequences of the corona crisis cannot yet be precisely assessed, but it is already clear that children and young people are also under great strain in Switzerland and that pre-existing problems and inequalities are accentuated. The report is a research overview of the studies and investigations available for Switzerland up to June 2021, with a focus on the effects on the mental health of young people. It is a nationwide report, which ensures representativeness for the language regions (or individual cantons).
