Abstract
The Health Equality Section of the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) is investigating the extent to which the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the use of community interpreting services and whether the crisis has triggered a digitization process in this area. In the summer of 2020, the FOPH organized and conducted an online survey on this topic among Swiss hospitals, with 60 hospitals participating. Commissioned by the FOPH, the Swiss Bureau for Labour and Social Policy Studies (BASS) subsequently analyzed the survey data and compiled the main findings in this report (link below).
