Abstract

COVID Twitter Activity Analysis is an application that aims to monitor Twitter activity and detect tweets that could be related to positive COVID-19 cases. The collected data is analyzed to help the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) learn more about the spread and development of this pandemic in Switzerland, as well as to identify clusters and further waves early on.
