Abstract
Corona monologues is an initiative that has been developed against increasing loneliness. This loneliness arose as a result of the measures surrounding the coronavirus. Cranendonck has been hit hard and everyone in a different way. Community Art Cranendonck (CAC) started this project to help those involved with processing. The aim is to deal with the consequences of the coronavirus through sharing stories. Sharing these stories creates acceptance, understanding and connection. We start this project by collecting stories. The monologues are written by a playwright, incorporated into a podcast and rehearsed by amateur players from the municipality. These monologues are then incorporated into a book 'The Corona Monologues'. The project will be completed with nine performances in an intimate setting. After the performance, spectators can ask questions and share experiences.
