Abstract
Standing and sitting is difficult or even impossible for some people post-COVID. This is caused by POTS (postural tachycardia syndrome)-related complaints such as an abnormal increase in heart rate when changing position, with energy loss and prolonged recovery after exercise. Treatment and Support for POTS after COVID-19 infection (BOOST study) investigates how quality of life can be improved. There are known medicines that lower the heart rate. It is not known which agents are preferred.
