Abstract

Mortality and years of life lost due to COVID-19 are unevenly distributed across socio-economic groups and regions. Health differences play an important role in this. In this project we calculate the years of healthy life lost due to COVID-19, how these vary between income groups and regions and to what extent this variation is explained by differences in health and vaccination. This project is a follow-up to the project 'The impact of vaccination on inequalities in years of life lost due to Covid-19'. that started in May 2023.
