Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has shown that fragmented data from different healthcare institutions hinders rapid response to infectious disease threats. There is a need for an integrated system that brings together data from primary care, hospitals, nursing homes, GGDs and laboratories. ARGOS-Plus builds such a network by linking real-time data streams from care records and samples and collecting additional information about vulnerable groups. In collaboration with healthcare and data organizations, an infrastructure is being created that can identify infectious disease threats early and in a data-driven manner and provide tools to better protect vulnerable population groups.
