Abstract

"Main objective Demonstrate that the addition of mNGS to the routine workup increases the number of diagnoses of infection causing IUFD. Secondary objectives 1. Evaluation of the detection rate of emergent or reemergent pathogen (including previously unknown pathogen X) among detected "causative" or "possibly causative" pathogen by mNGS 2. Evaluation of microorganism's detection rates by mNGS and routine workup according to sample type 3. Identification of transcriptomic signatures in placental and fetal tissues associated with the detection of an infection causing IUFD. 4.
