European Togetherness in all Times

The main objective of our project "European Togetherness in all Times" is to organise a two-day event with active local and regional participation at national and EU level. Besides cultural and gastronomic activities, the main theme of the event is the impact of the Covid19 pandemic on local communities, building the future after Covid 19. Discussion forums, debates, presentations and good practices will be presented during the event. This is the 6th year of the traditional Tastes of the Regions event, bringing together NGOs and local authorities with our project partners. Our aim is to help citizens and members of organisations in the participating municipalities to understand each other's activities, the positive aspects and benefits of the EU, to teach them how to participate in the decision-making process and to make extensive use of the tools in the future, and to build a wide network of contacts among the population. An important element is to discuss issues related to the future of the EU, to answer questions about the current path of Europe, to promote communication between generations and nations, and to strengthen tolerance in the long term.The event will also place a strong emphasis on achieving zero waste for the future of the EU and healthy eating for health protection. Accompanying events will promote the flavours of each region through gastronomic programmes. Environmental protection will also be addressed through presentations and the use of recyclable materials. The activities will bring together people of all ages and social groups to understand each other's social and political issues, discuss the future of the EU, the positive aspects of living in the EU, help to understand the concept of solidarity and inspire citizens to volunteer.We will also involve citizens from disadvantaged backgrounds in the implementation of the project. Publicity will be a priority in the implementation in all participating countries, thus achieving a multiplier effect.
