Abstract

NAVIX (NAsal VaccInation against pathogen X) is a France Vaccins-funded project within the framework of France 2030. It is coordinated by the Institut Pasteur de Lille, dedicated to the development of next-generation intranasal vaccine platforms against pathogens of pandemic concern. The project focuses on the rational design of innovative mucosal vaccine components, including targeted antigens, mucosal adjuvants, and advanced delivery systems based on nanoparticle formulations and viral vectors. These candidate vaccines will be evaluated through comprehensive preclinical studies using advanced in vitro and animal models to rigorously assess their immunogenicity and protective efficacy.
